Who we are.
UNCARD is run by [legal entity name] in [location]. Our contact address is not set yet: [contact email]. The bracketed address is not a working support or removal channel. Our Privacy notice explains how we handle information.
Making and receiving.
You must be 13 or older to make or give an uncard. A recipient can be any age and can open a link without an account. An account is unavailable to anyone under 13: a parent or guardian can make the account and make the uncards. Eligible recipients aged 13–17 may claim and save an uncard under the separate recipient account rules.
What you can do.
Make birthday uncards for people you know. A link can be opened by anyone who has it and can be forwarded. An optional PIN adds a lock; it does not stop an authorised viewer forwarding what they see. Please do not break the service, overload it or get around its access or spending limits.
Your words and the finished uncard.
You keep your rights in the words and information you supply. You allow us to process them to make, store, review, repair and deliver your uncard, and to operate and improve the service as described in the Privacy notice. Necessary staff and AI providers may read those words. Telling us to leave something out means omitting it from the birthday, not hiding it from that processing.
You can review and change the words before giving. AI can make mistakes; check facts, tone and permissions before sharing. [Counsel to confirm the licence for the finished uncard, artwork and software.]
Make it kind.
Only include details you are comfortable giving to the person and their family. Do not include:
- Harmful, hateful, threatening or sexual material.
- Harassment, humiliation, deception or impersonation.
- Passwords, financial details, health information or other sensitive private details.
- Material about someone who has asked you not to make an uncard, or material you have no right to use.
Making uncards.
Making is available after signing in and completing the account’s age confirmation. Account suspension and content safety rules still apply. Links are free during launch; this does not start a paid subscription.
A paused account cannot make, change or give uncards. Its existing links remain subject to hosting and access rules and may be withdrawn.
Future prices.
Future prices are CA$5.99 for one uncard, CA$9.99 a month for two uncards per paid month, and CA$2.99 for a subscriber extra. Unused included uncards roll over only while subscribed. Links are free during launch. [Taxes, refund rules and payment terms: counsel and owner to confirm before checkout opens.]
Hosting.
Three months of hosting from giving. It also stays live while an eligible giver, or a recipient who has claimed and saved it, has an active subscription. An eligible subscription can belong to the giver or a recipient who has claimed and saved the uncard. Cancelling at the end of a paid period keeps that period. An eligible late payment has three days of grace for hosting only; it does not provide new uncards, purchases or rollover eligibility. Closing a link does not delete its records.
Deleting the giver’s account closes that account’s uncard links, including saved links. Deleting a recipient’s account removes their claims and saves; it does not delete another giver’s uncard. A saved link is not an independent copy.
Optional privacy choices.
Opening an uncard works without agreeing to optional measurement or advertising. Essential delivery, sign-in and security are separate. The Privacy notice explains current processing and features that remain disabled. Opening Privacy choices does not itself reject anything. A refusal is saved only after confirmation; browser-only and account confirmations have different scopes.
Removal and reports.
The intended route for removal requests is [contact email], including requests about you or your child without an account. This address is not set and the route is unavailable. [Request handling, reply time and rights: counsel and owner to confirm before launch.] We may withdraw an uncard that breaks these rules.
Service and responsibility.
We aim to keep the service working for the hosting period, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Check an uncard before giving it. [Counsel to confirm warranties, liability and what happens if the service changes or closes.]
Changes.
We update the date when these terms change. [How material changes will be communicated and when they take effect: owner and counsel to confirm.]
Governing law.
[Governing law, jurisdiction and dispute terms: counsel to confirm.]
